historic VW festival 2009

The Historic Volkswagen Club has its own informal gathering each Summer to share ideas and display our cars. This meet also doubles as the date and venue for the club's Annual General Meeting. The venue for 2009 was the RAF Museum at Cosford on the Shropshire Staffordshire border.

We were here on the same site for this event in 2008 when the weather was kind to us. But who would have thought that the first weekend in June would bring torrential rain! Non the less a stalwart band of members turned up with elderly Volkswagens if simply to prove that the cars were still fit to do battle with the elements.
